Admission Procedures

Admission Steps


Royal Family Academy admits students of diverse race, colour, nationality and ethnic origin. There is no discrimination in the administration of our educational policies, admissions, procedures, athletic or other school-oriented programmes. However, as a Christian school, we reserve the right to refuse admission to any individual who cannot benefit from enrollment based on past academic achievement, disqualifying handicap that may hinder the child from benefitting from the school programme.

Prospective parents are expected to purchase and complete an application form which can be obtained from the school front desk officer in April of the preceding session. Completed application forms should be returned with the necessary documents attached; after which the pupils/students are to participate in a pre-assessment/placement test to be followed by an oral interview in June in preparation for the upcoming session. Admission of pupils/students shall be based on the school’s cut off mark of at least 70% in Mathematics, English Language and General Knowledge for the primary section and Mathematics, English Language, Science and General Knowledge for the High School and is also subject to availability of space.

Fees (Application)

A N10,000.00 non-refundable fee is required for each new student, for the purchase of admission form. This fee does not guarantee placement. The purchase of forms and placement tests are carried out in the 3rd term of every session.

Fees (Development levy)

Every new entrant to RFA is required to pay the sum of N100,000.00 (one hundred thousand naira) school development levy, which is a one-time payment, to be assessed for each new pupil/student upon initial enrollment. The development fees are non-refundable. However, in the event that a student is unable to commence school after the capital fee is paid, 75% refund will be made upon request.

Fees (Tuition, books, clubs and PTPF Levy)

These fees are due in full payment to the school on or before resumption of the new session. Fees paid after resumption of the pupil/student will not be refunded.

Age Requirement

The school has a structured policy on age for each year group in order to ensure that pupils/students who are given admission into any grade are physically, mentally, socially and emotionally prepared. The age policy is effective from the beginning of the school year for all new pupils/students.
