1 Tim 4:12 says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity”. This is one of the greatest lessons RFA taught me, to always be confident and to be a leader- an excellent one at that- wherever I find myself. I am to be an example of Christ in every circle I find myself, be it at school, work or even among my friends. The spirit of excellence and the character of leadership are two of the greatest gifts RFA ever gave to me and I will always be grateful for that.
Royal Family Academy after home formed the foundation of my life, spiritually, academically, emotionally and psychologically. Looking back now and seeing all that’s been conquered and achieved so far, I see a lot of those seeds planted and watered adequately from RFA. Every day I went to school, I was referred to as “Miss Rubie”, this set my mind up to always view myself as royalty. And royalty didn’t just mean physical appearance, it transcended to my speech, my mannerisms and actions. A huge chunk of who I am today and who I will be tomorrow is attributed to the foundation RFA laid in me.
RFA provided a platform for leadership capacity development and laid the foundation for my spiritual growth. I learned the importance of striving for excellence in whatever I do. RFA instilled Godly values that I’ve carried with me through the years.
My time in RFA was life moulding. It has and still does play a major part in defining who I am today. From the lifelong friendships made to the fully committed teachers who invested in me, every moment spent in RFA was beautiful and impactful. It gave me fuel I needed to successfully finish and graduate from university. It is an experience I wish everyone could have!
Life in RFA taught me not to look down on anyone; it helped form my model of thinking and opened my mind to a lot of possibilities I never saw before. These qualities acquired in RFA has propelled me in my institution of higher education, my developed leadership qualities at RFA helped me attain a height of student leadership and brought favour from the authorities.
we cannot be conquered and we cannot fail, we are royal seeds….” I never understood the depth of our recitation until it became my life. RFA laid a strong all-round foundation and instilled confidence through the word of God in me. The kind of confidence required to take on any challenge in life.
