Student Expectations

Respect, diligence and participation.

  • Be caring and respectful; RFA has zero tolerance for bullying, unruly behaviour or abuse.
  • Show respect in attitude and manner to people and property.
  • Work diligently on classwork, homework and projects, with regular self-revision.
  • Attend all academic programmes, co-curricular activities and other school-related programmes.

Attendance & Punctuality

Compulsory attendance and firm procedures for lateness.

  • Attendance is compulsory. Excuse may be granted case-by-case when the school is informed in advance.
  • Submit medical certificates/letters of excuse to the Form Teacher immediately on return.
  • Absence without a valid reason is truancy and will be punished.
  • Be in school by 7:45 a.m.; late after 7:55 a.m. triggers late-coming procedures (e.g., manual duties) before returning to class.

Assembly / Chapel / Class Devotion

Compulsory participation and reverent conduct.

  • All students must attend Assembly, Chapel and Class Devotion.
  • Sing the School Song with pride and respect.
  • During morning devotion, listen carefully and record learning points in your handbook.
  • Be punctual; absence without a valid reason is treated as truancy.

Classroom Conduct

Punctuality and care for learning spaces.

  • Be punctual for all lessons; absence without a valid reason is truancy.
  • Report any damage to equipment or furniture in classrooms or labs to the teacher in charge.

Facility, Health & Safety

Cleanliness, care of property and safe behaviour on campus.

  • Leave every area cleaner after use; maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Take good care of school property; replacement costs for vandalised items are borne by the responsible student(s).
  • Eat and drink only in designated zones.
  • Mobile phones/electronic gadgets are not allowed, except with a teacher’s permission.
  • Champion health & safety; participate in emergency drills.
